How to Display WordPress Form Entries on Your Site

WordPress forms allow you to quickly and easily collect information from visitors to your website. Once submitted, this form data is stored in a WordPress database. But what do you do with it? Sure, you could export the data to a .csv file and store it offline, but wouldn’t it be better to be able to display the data directly on your website?

The good news is, there’s a way to do just that! Here we’ll show you how to display WordPress form submissions directly on your site with relative ease.

Step One: Install a Plugin

The first step is to install a WordPress plugin that will allow you to display your form submissions. There are a few different plugins available, but we recommend Forminator. This plugin is free and it provides you with a simple way to display your form submissions in a variety of formats. For the purposes of this tutorial, we’ll be using Forminator.

Step Two: Create a View

Once you’ve installed the Forminator plugin, you’ll need to create a view. This is essentially a way of organizing the form submissions into categories, by allowing you to assign tags to each submission. To create a view in Forminator, select “Views” from the left side menu and then click “Add View”. Name your view, assign it a tag, and then click “Create View”.

Step Three: Add the Data

Now that you’ve created a view, you can begin adding the data to it. To do this, click “Add Data” and then select the form you’d like to display. You can then choose which fields to display and how they should be displayed (e.g. as a table or list). Once you’ve made your selection, click “Save & Publish”.

Step Four: Embed the View on Your Website

The last step is to embed the view you’ve created onto your website. To do this, go back to the Views screen, select your view, and then click “Generate Shortcode”. Copy this shortcode and then paste it into the page or post where you would like the form entries to be displayed.

Wrapping Up

And there you have it! You’ve now learned how to display WordPress form entries on your website. This is a great way to give your visitors an easy way to view the data you’ve collected, without forcing them to download and view a .csv file.
